One of the first things we realized was that we needed to remove the bulkhead from the van. We originally planned to do this in San Jose before we left, but the rivets proved to be too difficult to drill out and it would have taken a long time and we didn't have the tools and time.
Once we had our van back at our house we were able to locate the proper drill bit with a bit of trial and error and drilled the rivets out. There were 28 rivets along the top and sides and about 8 more on the floor. Once removed we were able to recline and move back the driver's seat and we were able to unbolt the passenger seat and reposition it. The passenger seat was not on tracks (we are getting different seats anyway, so no biggie, this is just temporary).
